Metro Lodge

I am SO thankful that this place exists and Doug has been wonderful to us. An elderly family member of mine needed an inexpensive simple place to live alone longer term and has been very happy here over the last 9 months or so. She has a mini fridge, microwave, small kitchen with stovetop burners, ample cabinet space, 2 sinks, larger shower/tub with storage and privacy. The rooms are significantly bigger than other similar motels in the area for less money so that was a huge plus for us. Doug in the office is always great every time I see him and happy to fix anything quickly if ever needed. The housekeeping staff is great as well, very sweet and helpful with requests, comes every week to wash sheets and towels and more. Everyone is real friendly here and there hasn’t been any major drama so she feels safe, not sketchy as others make it sound, no complaints about bugs or crazy neighbors either. Though motels aren’t perfect, I feel this one is one of the best if not THE best in Cobb/Cherokee county in terms of safety, customer service, location, price and value. Several people there have small children too, but there are clear rules when you live there that you must sign to keep crime and accidents at bay. If people are weird there, they will kick them out no problem, and we appreciate that. It’s definitely suitable for a night, a week or long term-we come here 2-3x/week to visit so we know the area well. If you have an elderly family member on a fixed income and can’t afford these extreme rent prices, please consider this place!

Well this place has decent privileges such as free wifi, room service, etc but it's not the best, just good enough to be acceptable. Rooms are pretty small as well, just enough space for 1 or 2 people so I'd mainly recommend Metro Lodge for short stays.

Doug is a very understanding and kind man, as long as you respect and follow basic rules. Best deal you're gonna find.

Every since new management took over three years ago the quality of this place has dramatically improve. Tons of renovations, no drug business and there hardly any trash on the grounds. As far as roaches, It's simple, you have filthy neighbors that don't keep their place up. You can't have 2 week old trash and not expect roaches. I keep my place clean as well as my nieghbors and live completely roach free...The manager, cleaning crew and office staff are very friendly and welling to help even beyond their jobs... The manager help fix my car when it was down...I live over 10 years in various extended stays from FlL to here in GA and find this place given some of the neighbors ine of the best places to stay...

Quite nice people not short term stay Doug not bad guy seems very nice just has to deal with alot of shady people. Ya do get a thick skin and gruff attitude when ya see the people who come thru here and don't want to be upstanding members of be sociaty. Totally understandable​.

I have people that live here. Employees... It's not a bad place to stay if you have to. Too expensive for what it is, doesn't allow you to ever save to get something better.

Older place, with great potential! Doug, at the front desk, is very polite, kind, and concerned for your needs. The price is awesome! I stayed there for 5 weeks, and never had a worry or concern. I was always asked if my room needed anything, and the maids are so polite and eager to assist. If you're looking for a place to stay, for an extended period, I recommend this place.

Good place to stay on a budget. Older motel,however they update all the time. I'm handicapped so safety is important to me. No issues in my 5 plus years here.
